Tour Highlights:

As autumn arrives each year, a spectacular transformation occurs across the country. and there is no better place to witness this coloful change than in New England. it’s truly a sight to behold -- the pale yellow of the birch and the rusty brown of the mighty oak -- blended with the vivid orange and crimson of the maple trees. But it’s not just Mother Nature’s handiwork that makes this region so beautiful. New England is also the
quintessential image of small-town Yankee America, with its white churches and red barns, covered bridges and clapboard  houses,  snowy  woods  and  maple  syrup. But that's only part of what this tour has in store.  Set sail to Nantucket Island.  Explore the Cape Cod National Seashore.  Tour the grandest "summer cottage" in Newport, Rhode Island.  And if you've never heard of the "Big E," think of a state fair on steroids with six New England states in one place!

After breakfast, you will be met at the hotel by your local guide, who will assist with luggage and then help you board your chartered motorcoach. A picture stop will be made at the Forefather’s Monument, the largest solid granite monument in the United States. She stands facing the harbor, welcoming those who come by water. Also, a stop will be made at Plymouth Rock, the traditional site of disembarkation of the Pilgrims in 1620.  Next we head to the sandy shores of Cape Cod. Extending some 70 miles into the sea, the Cape is home to both natural beauty and quaint colonial villages. You can walk pristine beaches, revel in the arts and culture, and reclaim childhood memories of seashells, sandcastles, and saltwater taffy. Your guide will assist with check in at your lodging. Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End”- Provincetown. You are now at the extreme tip of Cape Cod, where the Pilgrims first landed before moving across the bay to Plymouth. Take some time to enjoy the wonderful variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries that make this artists/fishing village so unique. We have a choice of excursions for you- either a whale watch with onboard naturalist, looking for Humpback, Minke, and Fin whales, or a Dune Tour riding through the protected lands of the Cape Cod National Seashore, where you’ll see the “dune shacks” of famous artists and writers inspired by the area’s natural beauty.
